Eggless Banana Bread

Ingredients:

4 medium-sized or 2 large ripe Bananas
1/2 cup Granulated white sugar
1/2 cup Sunflower oil
1/4 tsp Cinnamon powder (optional)
2-3 pinches grated Nutmeg (optional)
1tsp Vanilla essence
1 and 1/2 cup Whole wheat flour
1 and 1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Baking soda
A pinch of Salt
1-2 tbsp Sunflower seeds (optional)

Method:

1. Take the sliced bananas and sugar in a mixing bowl.
2. Mash the bananas well or puree them with a hand blender. There should be no chunks.
3. Add the oil and fold it in so that it mixes well with the bananas.
4. Add in the vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon powder and mix well.
5. Sieve the flour, baking powder, soda and salt into the mix directly.
6. Fold the flour well with the mix.
7. Add the sunflower seeds or any dried fruits you want into the mix and fold them in.
8. Preheat the oven for about 5 minutes to 180 degree Celcius.
9. Line the baking tin with some oil and flour.
10. Pour the mixture in the tin.
11. Bake it at 180 for about 30-40 minutes. (Cooking time could differ so check if a toothpick when inserted comes out clean)
12. Once warm or cool, remove from the tin and serve.
